This is Honey. She was adopted from us initially almost two years ago, and was recently returned due to a new household member’s cat allergy. When we got her two years ago, she was pregnant, and came from outside someone’s house where she was fighting for her life. She was skinny, and it took her several weeks to open up enough to let us even pet her. She finally opened up to us, and a week or two later, gave birth to 4 babies in our home. I helped her through the entire birth making sure she passed all 4 placentas, and that the babies were latching on. One baby did not make it past 3 days old, but the other three grew up to be lovely, amazing cats.

Her babies got adopted quickly by wonderful homes. But we ended up having Honey for 6 months before getting an applicant for her. The applicant ended up adopting her, and she was with them until we got her back. They have surrendered her back to us due to no fault of Honey’s. And unfortunately brought her back declawed in the front, something we do not condone.

Honey is such an amazing cat. She is super loving and wants to be petted and to lay with you all the time. She likes to sleep and chill out, and is a very low key kitty. She has been around dogs and does wonderful with them. She doesn’t do amazing with meeting new kitties, but with some time and getting used to each other, she could certainly live with another cat. She is so special to us and we want to see her adopted by someone who will love and keep her forever. If you can give Honey a loving home, she will love you forever as well!!
