Gold Finger was rescued by Jessamine County Animal Care and Control after he was caught in an illegal leg trap for several days. He has been in medical care for a month and will soon to be released to a foster home environment to complete his rehabilitation. This boy has been through the worst people can do and is now looking for someone with a big heart who can show him the best of humanity for the rest of his life. As a result of this incident, he had three toes on his back leg amputated, but that doesn't stop him from getting around and being a super affectionate cat. Gold will need a special family that will give him the time he needs to learn to trust people again.
No adoption will be discussed without first filing an application and consenting to a home visit. If you're interested in giving Gold a permanent, loving home, please complete our application.
The application is necessary to help us to help you through the adoption process and does not obligate you to adopt,
